A true personal experience.

Taxes can be a hassle, but I haven’t had as much trouble before compared to the past year and a half. This is continued from my previous article written earlier this year called Frustrating IRS Trips.

When I went during that time, Two Homeland Security Officers were there emptying out all contents of my backpack when I first rushed in at the third time arriving to the same office.

There was a sign on the wall outside with a similar message as this one:

My pepper spray shown in the photo at the beginning of this article is the exact model of the one that I had in my possession. It was gifted to me for self defense specifically for sexual harassment and assault that I frequently experience.

There were 4 white women in the bathroom. My appointment lasted not even 15 minutes after my bag was checked by Security. Afterward, I rushed back to the bathroom and found my keychain missing the pink mase spray extension. There was nothing that I could do at the time because security had me rushing back and forth trying to get to my appointment making me late already because of having to send me out of the office to put the pepper spray in a location since it wasn’t allowed into the office.

From what I remember, there were four white women inside the restroom out of sight from everyone for the duration of my appointment. Two of the women were right behind me as I was walking out of the bathroom so it had to be the other two that were still in the stalls. Instead of turning it into lost and found, it was stolen. I happened to have seen it on another White woman’s keychain while walking back to my car at Costco with the same bedazzled keychain attachment that I had on it as well. Someone had mentioned that it was sold to someone else.

Here are some reminders to take with you:

In the face of danger, choose #courage and #speakup.

Please #becareful and try to #besafe.

This information was gathered from friends, family, and my life experiences combined.

Inspired by my true story.

Thank you for reading.
