A short list of soothing music.

Earlier this year, I wrote an article about instrumental music to listen to during your personal healing process when dealing with abuse. If you haven't read it yet, see it below:

Life can take you on many twists and turns that may seem unbearable at times. From my experience, music has always been the best form of therapy. The best part about it is that the list is endless and it can be free. Currently, I'm listening to these songs through Apple Music on my phone. They can help as a distraction from all of the noise too. Plus, when no one is around...there's always the opportunity of busting out with a karaoke solo, and not just while in the shower. lol

Here are a few more song choices that I enjoy listening to that include both instrumentals and tunes with lyrics.

Healing by Two Lanes

Feeling the lonely blues? This song will make you forget about being alone and move your body in your seat waving to its melodic pleasantries as it echoes.

Lyrics:

When I'm waiting on my own And my time is slowing down I heal on my own

Heal on my own

When I'm out here on my own Where I can feel my soul

Heal on my my I heal on my own

When I'm waiting on my own And my time is slowing down I heal on my own

Heal on my own

When I'm out here on my own Where I can feel my soul

Mystic Sea by Koresma

This instrumental has so many layers to it that will keep you hitting the repeat button and listening to it over and over again.

You're Not Alone by CMA

Another instrumental that sounds like an awakening lullaby as if one is searching for something deeper laced with a hopeful beat.

There's so much more, but I'll stick to these three for now. Hear these songs while doing homework, studying, running, exercising, or even reading at a lower volume. Whatever you are doing, I hope that the music will bring you peace and a hopeful moment to yourself.

Bibliography:

Whatever you are going through, know that you are not alone.

Please #becareful and try to #besafe.

Inspired by my true story.
