When the quote, "You can order a woman faster than you can order a pizza," was mentioned in a YouTube Video called I Was Raped By Politicians, Your Fathers and CEOS, chills pursued up my spine, and goosebumps raised on my arms. Unfortunately, this statement is true. This is what Human Trafficking is, also known as modern-day slavery. Coming from the words of a Sex Trafficking Survivor, "...with a push of a button on the phone, I was sold to the highest bidder," anyone can be a Human Trafficker.

If you've read any of my previous articles yet, you would now have a better understanding that Human Trafficking has no boundaries. There is absolutely no discriminatory factor that limits its predatory reach. Numerous people can be involved in one "Ring" and there are a colossal of Trafficking Networks that are out there all over the world. Sounds scary? You're not the only one to think so. If you haven't had an experience with this yet that you are aware of, it can be happening in your neighbor's backyard or basement right now and you don't even know it. There are different types of trafficking that include slavery, labor, drugs, sex, and organs.

So it comes back to the question of who really is capable of being a Human Trafficker. Let's go down the list:

  • Fathers

  • Mothers

  • Uncles

  • Aunts

  • Grandmothers

  • Grandfathers

  • Nieces

  • Nephews

  • Cousins

  • Neighbors

  • Friends

  • School Coaches

  • Businessmen

  • Businesswomen

  • Priests

  • Cops / Police Officers

  • CEOs

  • Politicians

  • Sports Coaches

  • Corrections Officers

  • Sheriffs

  • Construction Workers

  • Janitors / Custodians

  • Landlords

  • Shelter Workers

  • Dance Club Owners

  • Doctors

  • Security

  • Taxi Cab Drivers

  • Anyone in the Sex Industry

  • Flight Attendants

  • Celebrities

  • Retail Workers

  • Restaurant Workers

  • Social Workers

  • Counselors

  • Psychiatrists

  • Bus Drivers

  • Government Employees

  • Model Photographers

And there's so much more since it can be anyone. But you also have a better idea of how this is possible from the examples I've listed above of abusers I have had to deal with.

Please #becareful and try to #besafe.

Inspired by my true story.
