A brief guide on how to boost energy throughout any part of the day.
DISCLAIMER: This article is showing how I, myself, have been trying to take care of myself in an oppressive world that still denies the fact that sexual violence exists and chooses to do nothing instead of something to help solve the problem. In no way am I claiming to be a doctor as I am not certified as one. Research over the years, trial and error, and limitations at various times on accessibility helped me construct this list to try and beat the periods of being drugged by Human Traffickers and other abusers before getting raped. No doctor has aided me in constructing this list nor has provided suggestions to me with alternatives. This is solely MY RESEARCH ONLY and I wish to not have this plagiarized.

There have been many lethargic days when waking up that a much-needed energy breakthrough was necessary to make it past the day. I have used many different ways for my body to absorb energy by using certain beauty products, trying out new energy drinks, and through nutritious snacks.
Here are five examples of affordable products that can be purchased from different stores:
1. B-pure Sugar Coffee Body Scrub

It is common knowledge that coffee has caffeine in it, an energy-boosting stimulant. This sugar scrub smells divine. Usually, I do not like the scent of coffee, but this has a hint of a fruity note that keeps it smelling pleasant. Not to mention that I was happily surprised while trying it out about how rich and full of oil this beauty product is. It immediately hydrates the skin and feels soft in the palm of my hand. The caffeine does absorb into the bloodstream when the body still feels the effects providing that needed low-level boost. Find this item at any Dollar Tree store.
2. NatureMade Extra Strength B12 3000 mcg

While the popular B12 is known as a hangover remedy, this supplement does so much more. It is good for the brain, the central nervous system, and overall energy. According to NatureMade, it reduces fatigue while supporting energy metabolism, brain cell, and nervous system function. Depending on the store, I have seen this specific supplement available from 500 mcg to 5000 mcg in soft gel or tablet forms. Find this item at Walgreens or Walmart.
3. Guru Nanda Natural Essential Oil Lemon

Lemon is a natural energizer. The potency of this therapeutic-grade essential oil is high making just a tiny drop go a long way. I like to use this oil by dabbing it along my nostrils to keep the scent close to my nose so I can continuously smell it. If there's a sensitivity, then I mix a few drops with a carrier oil such as coconut or sweet almond oil. After the mixture is set for a little bit, the lemon scent is strong throughout the entire oil letting the scent last longer. Find this in the beauty/pharmacy section of Walmart stores.
4. Rockstar Energy Drink Punched

The flavor of this energy drink does pack a powerful punch no pun intended and tastes very good. Along with the 240mg of Caffeine, the Rockstar Fruit Punch energy drink has natural flavors. The caffeine content comes from Guarana, B-vitamins, Taurine. It is being sold in more stores now like Safeway, Walmart, and other retail stores including gas stations.
5. Shelled Pistachios

Pistachios are a protein-rich treat is high in antioxidants and full of Vitamin B6 providing energy to the body per serving. An added bonus for the health-conscious is that it's low in calories as well. Find these in a bag at Dollar Tree, Costco, or grocery stores.
All of these smell-good options certainly get the job done for a brief or extended period of time when more energy is needed to complete a task. If you get to try any of these, feel free to leave a comment with your feedback on how it worked out.
