Being a female gamer can be tough. The amount of sexism on the interwebs is astronomical that there are still some heavy sexist barriers to break through. On top of that, me having been a Human Trafficking victim for so long especially online can be tougher trying to get away from so many people. Last year, I wrote an article named Take 5: Recent Cyberbullying Attacks Received exposing the different types of insults and threats I have received from people I do not know and some that I had met online through gaming in Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs) and Multiplayer Online Battle Arenas (MOBAs).
Cyberbullying can become a serious problem when not dealt with. In the past couple of years, I had been reading media about how some gaming developers have been trying to tackle on this huge issue.
Here is another look at more cyberbullying attacks I've been receiving online while gaming:

The first name is a Spanish slang phrase translated to "Take out the boobs".

Saying this out loud really speaks for itself on what it states. This really is disgusting.

The first name is in reference to the name Neko, which is considered bad in the internet world because it's related to a rated X game that is extremely inappropriate, invasive, illegal, and then some. The second name has part of the word "whore" in it. The third name refers to someone I know.

The first name is so bad. If you cannot guess what it says, it's "SkullFucker". There are rapists in the Sex Trafficking business who like to break open skulls and oral rape victims to death. It's very atrocious, horrifying, and inhumane how humans are treated this way.

In the first article I wrote exposing five different cyberbullying attacks I had received, I mentioned about my character name containing "Bish". This is a direct attack on me by someone I have no idea who it is that plays console. Not to mention that it relates to a bigger issue of Cybersex Trafficking that I have been trying to report for over a year now that I experienced many years ago with people illegally forcing me into cybersex online and also videotaping it to spread it onto the Dark Web in order to make money. There's also an extra insult in here with the Spanish word after the hashtag meaning "ugly" hinting that someone had watched those particular videos.

This is such a layered insult that I'm still trying to figure out all of the issues it's connecting to. As stated from one of the other pictures here, this particular name is from a character on another game that is actually legal and age-appropriate. The character is a whimsical curious chameleon that's usually played in a jungle role of a MOBA game. Unfortunately, the people using this name also in all caps are referring to the other inappropriate game also adding in insults of calling me gay using only one e in the name Neeko instead of the two e's. They twisted it into a sexual innuendo, which is why it's morphed into sexual harassment.
While playing online, try to do your best to stay safe. There are some games that actually have a reporting process and do follow through with punishing players who are practicing misconduct. One of my favorite games is Dead by Daylight. They really do follow through with their reporting system and do ban player accounts from the game. There is also League of Legends which informs you with a popup with a player account has suffered a penalty due to the reports issued. This is one of the main reasons why I would continue playing these games. It shows that there is a sort of safety net to play comfortably instead of having to defend myself every few seconds from more people who feel aggressively dominant while hiding behind a computer screen. In a future article, I can list more games that are practicing at least some safety procedures for players.
