The topic of Human Trafficking can seem complicated as it is ambiguous and dangerous. One of the more noticeable branches of this extreme form of inhumane practice is Labor Trafficking.
To keep things simple, the following listicle will show some examples of what Labor Trafficking looks like while in a work environment:
Unfair wages
Different wage amount than agreed upon after work has started.
Underpaid - Not paid partial or full wage.
Not paid on time.
Cut payroll hours for no reason creating an unlivable wage.
No benefits honored that are offered to other employees:
No overtime available.
No medical packages.
Discounts not honored.
No work/life balance.
Negative and abusive work environment.
