This advertisement was found on Instagram a few days ago through my scrolling feed and couldn't resist putting my opinion on it since it's considered dangerous. Misinformation can be deadly especially when including medical information. From my knowledge, ketamine is a recreational drug that is also commonly used as a date rape drug. Wikipedia mentions, "Recreational ketamine use has been implicated in deaths globally." Its widespread use in recent years has been due to Human Trafficking, mainly sex trafficking, which I continue to refer to as Rape Trafficking.
There are serious side effects associated with this particular drug which makes me wonder how in the world this ad made it to be published in the first place. Most people who are dosed with this drug can be knocked out almost immediately. It has a sedation effect when used that can last for several hours. A soon-to-be-published article on this website will list additional side effects once I get more research done. It looks like there's no filter on the marketing streams of social media platforms stopping this alarming content from being posted.
If you come across this advertisement, please report it. You can do this by clicking on the three horizontal dots at the top of the post and then choosing report. This is false information that even if it is true that there is a such thing as ketamine clinics, be sure to avoid them at all costs. It is very dangerous. Your life will depend on it. There are other alternatives to therapy. This shouldn't be one of them.
