A free verse poem in the form of a letter to the Almighty asking him some very important questions.

How does thee
view my interactions?
This stays lingering
in my head.
Are spirits sent
to accompany me
to help me fight
with words of victory?
Or is it just
having an audience
to somehow assist
or maybe boost?
I ask you again
as the questions
don’t get old.
Do you love me?
Please tell me so.
For these difficult battles
do not easily tire
in any waking matter.
If I look straight up
are you invisibly
within my view?
Do you see me
when my mobility
has come to cease?
Please God,
will you help me?
I’m tough as rocks
I do not doubt,
but please really listen.
My body’s limits
have surpassed their reach.
So when I’m down
and cannot lift
with all of my last might
and everyone is gone,
will you spare
at least one angel
to use his wings
and gift me freedom?
Note:
This poem is inspired by a time that I could not walk and also being abused so torturous to where I could not move my body at all with no one there and all I could do was pray to God.
