A journal entry of a recipe for a natural remedy I use to survive Human Trafficking.
DISCLAIMER: This article is showing how I, myself, have been trying to take care of myself in an oppressive world that still denies the fact that sexual violence exists and chooses to do nothing instead of something to help solve the problem. In no way am I claiming to be a doctor as I am not certified as one. Research over the years, trial and error, and limitations at various times on accessibility helped me construct this list to try and beat the periods of being drugged by Human Traffickers and other abusers before getting raped. No doctor has aided me in constructing this list nor has provided suggestions to me with alternatives. This is solely MY RESEARCH ONLY and I wish to not have this plagiarized.

It's the end of November 2023 and I realized that it's been about a year since I could access medical care that led me to nowhere in terms of receiving a sexual assault nurse examination, aka S.A.N.E. rape kit at an emergency room within a hospital. After doing a few visits requiring these, my Medicaid medical insurance decided to cancel my insurance on me while I have been getting Human Trafficked in various places around the U.S.
Since this happened to me and I've been in a bind trying to make money through working for a family as a babysitter for a year and now as a bell ringer for a nonprofit organization, I've resorted to using natural remedies. Lately, I've been experiencing a surmount of symptoms leading to so much pain that makes me keel over or not move for a temporary amount of time as my throat closes.
Usually, I can grab a clove of garlic and open my airways quickly with only one bite of it sitting on my tongue as the aroma expands within my mouth. But that isn't available for me. Good thing I just went to the food bank recently and got some new pantry goodies to help me with another recipe that I could use to relieve my symptoms.

Feel Good Throat Shot
Ingredients:
(nonalcoholic)
A small glass of Carrot Juice
A sprinkle of Cayenne Powder
A dash of Garlic Powder
The beta-carotene of the carrot is known to be good for the eyes, but the smoothie juice coats the throat well for me. Cayenne pepper works well for pain management naturally being a natural extract of pepper for capsaicin. Garlic is known for its properties to enhance the immune system and also fights bacteria. It is better when raw, but can sting. I only have the dehydrated powder seasoning available to use so that went right into the mixture for some quick relief.
This is a recipe that I use and do not claim to be a doctor as this blog is written for awareness purposes of serious problems that I'm experiencing and trying to resolve on my own with a lack of resources available to me.
If you're experiencing the same, here are some reminders to take with you:
